Cloze, Grades 1-8: Cloze is a method of developing comprehension by providing partial written passages with important information omitted. Two types of cloze activities are offered; those that involve filling in blanks from a given list of words, and others that provide for open-ended solutions. Each of the thirty-three activities includes a teacher information page which lists the activities' objective, teaching points, evaluation, and solutions.
